Kudu is above all a Wilderness experience
and offers many exciting activities for the whole family. from
challenging 4 X 4 trails, fly fishing, river rafting, mountain biking,
horse riding, hiking to game viewing, night drives and bird watching.
You might not need a 4 X 4 to get to Kudu, but the trails offered will raise your adrenelin levels, or perhaps you would prefer abseiling.

If you feel like a leisurely walk or a serious hike. Over 40 kilometers of spectacular hiking trails have been laid out. A charming overnight rest hut (with bunks, shower and toilet) is available for use by owners. View points and picnic sites have been developed for your enjoyment.

Fishing
The rivers are breeding grounds for Yellow fish and with wild trout occurring makes for ideal fly fishing in its purist form. |

River Rafting
For the whole family "tame the rapids" in a rubber duck or a kayak |

Horse Riding
On horseback you can experience game close-up. Keep your own horse on the property or you can use those offered for hire. |

Game viewing
Kudu Game Ranch, as a result of it's varied topography, encompasses a huge diversity of fauna and flora. The area is well lnown for it's large Kudu herds and it's Leopards. There are over twelve hundred head of game, with over 30 specie including; Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Kudu, Waterbuck, Blesbok, Impala, Eland, Reedbuck, Klipspringer and Duiker, not forgetting the nocturnal animals such as Genet, Civet, Caracal, Aardwolf and of course the Leopard. White Rhino are being introduced soon. Then we must not forget the over 230 bird specie identified, including the uncommon Narina Trogan and Finfoot who have made this area home. |
